The Linville Fire Department has a large refrigerated ice storage on site, and drives a UTV around to deliver campside.

What to Expect

• ICE in Avery County ran out in 2022 at the local stores, however, LVFD had plenty.
• the ice delivery guys are busy, so be patient
• Let them know you need ICE and they’ll bring it by
• You can also go over next to Camping Registration and buy it directly.

What to Bring

• A good cooler, ICE goes fairly quick if that’s your only method for cooling food and drink
• in 2022 a 7lb bag cost $5 dollars ( a bargain! )
