Piñata

It’s become a tradition in camp to have 2 piñatas that are broken open. This is a fun event for adults and kids.

What to Expect

• Generally
  • Each contestant is blindfolded, turned around 3 times and pointed at the target
  • Each gets 2 swings with a wooden sword, shillelagh or other device
  • Each gets anything that falls on their swing until it bursts
  • Once burst, it’s a free-for-all for what’s on the ground
• Childrens Piñata
  • This is filled with candy for the kids
  • Children are lined up by size, smallest first
  • Kids are asked to WAIT until it’s safe before they rush the ground when it breaks for safety
• Adults Piñata
  • This is filled with alcohol and hangover recovery items
  • Adults are required to take a swig of their favorite alcoholic beverage per swing
  • Adults will get anything that falls on their swing
