Pack Rats

This is our camp store run by the owners of Pack Rats located nearby in Linville, NC. If you forgot something, you can usually find it here; and if not.. they can get it. They have a great facebook page They offer many things that most campers can really use on the mountain:

• Straw Bales – to put under your tent to keep the water at bay and make sleeping more comfortable
• Camping Supplies – forgot a stake or ball-tie? they’ll have plenty available
• Snacks and Food – they stock sodas, sports drinks, water, ice-cream and candy for quick energy when needed. They also have plenty of quick meals to throw together
• Shopping Needs – forgot something they don’t have.. they have regular trips down-mountain to the local Lowes and Food-Lion and will get you what you need.
• Marshmallows – ammunition for the Marshmallow War .. make sure you’re well armed.
• Anything Else – the owner prides himself in having Just About Anything(tm) .. and they do!

What to Expect

• They generally open at 7am and close 7pm ( except Sat night for The War )
• Really nice people who will bend over backward to help you out.

• cash or credit .. they can make it work
